Suncorp offers you a choice of Home and Contents covers and optional covers. Our policy can offer 'new for old' replacement on your Home and Contents items, irrespective of age. A range of insured events
You are protected against loss or damage as a result of 12 insured events. Some of these include fire, theft, storm, impact, flash flood and rainwater run-off. You'll find that we have clearly defined what events are covered in our Product Disclosure Statement.
Save on your premium
There are different ways to save. You can choose a higher excess, install extra security on your home, or combine your Home and Contents Insurance at the same address under the one policy (terms and conditions apply).
Additional features at no extra cost
There are a number of additional features Suncorp offers. They include removal of debris and extra rebuilding costs, temporary accommodation costs during repairs and loss of rent when your investment property is insured. Other features include cover for when your contents are temporarily removed from the insured address anywhere else in Australia or moving to a new address anywhere in Australia, cover for breakage of fixed glass and up to $10 million for your legal liability.
Over 55s discount
If the policy is for your principal place of residence you receive 10% discount off your premium with us if you're over 55 or 15% for Seniors Card holders.
Optional covers
Choose from 7 Optional Covers, including motor burnout, personal effects, flood damage, accidental damage, injury to pet dogs and cats, and mortgagees interest and landlord's fixtures and fittings. For full details please refer to our Product Disclosure Statement.
Only one excess
Pay only 1 excess when you make a claim for both Home and Contents for the same event.
